I really hoped you finished that with "a mi me gusta bailar." And if you don't know the song, I recommend you google it!
Although I didn't do a whole lot of "bailando" (dancing) this week, I did really enjoy my time at the beach.
Life starts early here, as I found out when there came a knock on my door at 9am and a voice saying that everyone was waiting for me to eat breakfast. They had all already exercised, gone swimming, and showered, while I was just rolling out of bed. Classic.
The day continued with a few hours of all-out relaxing on the beach. Nothing like a good siesta in the sand to make a vacation really hit the spot.
A few hours later, we would gather to complete another family task, whether that be hanging curtains or planting flowers.
Come 3 or 4 in the afternoon, and it was lunchtime. Of course, my stomach had been rumbling since noon, but it just had to wait.
Luckily, lunch was always finished off with some amazingly delicious fruit that I had never seen before. Post-lunch entertainment involved watching me attempt to open/peel/crack/bite a strange object that was incredibly edible and very tasty.
We'd finish off the afternoon with a family game of basketball (naturally my team always lost) and a light dinner followed by some card games around the table, at which point at least one person would be nodding off.
And that sums up a typical day at Camana.
